AML Compliance Analyst responsibilities include all AML checks on Client Investments transactions as well as providing guidance and support to Investments professionals as necessary to ensure satisfaction of AML regulatory obligations.
Keep up to date on relevant AML laws, rules and regulations applicable to investment managers
Review structure charts and provide guidance to business teams
Prepare AML due diligence checklists
Assign risk ratings and determine level of due diligence and frequency of review required
Submit sanctions screening requests and escalate and investigate red flags
To be considered for this position, applicants will need to demonstrate the following:
Practical experience in an AML role
Proven track record of working with external parties, including vendors, issuers, clients, and outsourced teams
High level of integrity, maturity, and professionalism, with the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
Excellent multi-tasking and time management skills
Job Location: Cairo; however, the role can be managed remotely at a regional level subject to travel restrictions not preventing frequent client site visits.
