In any business within any industry, the people behind a company are just as important as the company itself. At P3 a key focus of ours has always been to build trust with you, our readers. Which is why we want you to get to know the faces behind the names when it comes to our team. This week, our ‘Meet The Team’ blog is all about our Business Administrator, Vicki Wain-Heapy.
Coming from a Payroll services background, Vicki climbed the corporate ladder starting out first as a Payroll Assistant which then led to landing the busy role of Payroll Manager. After a brief career break to spend quality time raising her children, Vicki then began a fast-paced position as an Operations Manager. With a wealth of experience under her belt, this is what eventually led Vicki to the P3 Audit fold where she is now a vital part of ensuring the day to day running of the company is smooth sailing.
And that’s not all - professional life aside, we wanted to share with you some interesting parts of Vicki’s home and personal life. A claim to fame which most people would never know is that within the town of Horsham Vicki was the last baby to ever be born in Horsham Hospital before the maternity ward doors were shut permanently. With regards to volunteer work, Vicki donates her time as a membership secretary for the local cricket club and can also regularly be found behind the bar on a Summer Friday evening to lend a helping hand.
And what about the things that Vicki feels most passionate about?
‘First and foremost the thing I love most is spending time with my family. We adore travelling together and it's so special visiting new and exciting places. This could be anything from city breaks in New York and Rome to long walks exploring the beautiful English countryside. And of course, who could forget a beach holiday? At the moment, we have been having some dinner time debates on whether our next adventure should be a road trip down the west coast of America or to do something totally different like going on safari. Once the world reopens its doors and we can travel freely, we will definitely be making up for lost time. ’
For our last question, we couldn’t resist checking in with Vicki to see what she enjoys most about working for P3 Audit;
‘I love the variety of work that P3 offers me, I always find that I have something different to do each day. I’m also excited by being part of such a worthwhile venture. Lastly, the team around me is also pretty great which is always a huge plus.’
